AGRONOMY HEAD (Position based in Ferkessedougou with multiple trips in sub-region)

You report to Agronomy Head Africa and Business Head of subsidiary company.

Your main responsibilities are:


• Develop & adopt new methods of growing Cotton to secure more efficient production, higher yield, and improved quality;
• Plan and carry out agronomy studies at R&D farms or model farms to evaluate and improve varieties of Cotton and other field crops like Maize and Soya with respect to characteristics, such as yield, quality, adaptation to specific soils or climates, and resistance to diseases and pests;
• Design, implement and manage the Procurement Strategy for all agriculture inputs and equipment.

You have a Ph.D in Agriculture with 20 years of field experience in similar field.
Fluency in English and French is required and good knowledge in basic computer skills (word, excel, power point) are required.
